Havengore House is a country style house set in three-quarters of an acre of landscape gardens, in a quiet suburban setting, close to amenities.
We provide residential care for older people as well as ones with mild to moderate level of dementia. Day care is also available at Havengore House.
The house is centrally heated with full fire precaution and alarm systems backed up with good emergency lighting systems. A four persons lift serves the two floors and a call bell system is fitted in each bedroom and bathroom.
Accommodation for residents is comprised of 18 single rooms (15 with en-suite) and 2 double rooms (all en-suite). All the rooms have their own character, tastefully decorated and carpeted with hand basins and wardrobe and dressing table facilities.

The facilities we provide
Fees, covering full board and care, and includes personal laundry, are reviewed in March each year, do vary according to facilities required / available and the level of care needed i.e:
• Single room
• Single room with en-suite facilities
• Shared room
• Exceptional care needs
Details are available on request or when you visit Havengore House. All financial matters are dealt with in the strictest confidence. Any personal allowances, where family is unable to participate, will be banked on behalf of the resident.
Some of our residents like to spend some of their day outside, during the periods of better weather, there is a patio area with chairs and tables etc. Residents may sit outside if they wish.
The large dining / day room where good food is served with varied menus to include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and supper. Every effort is made to cater for individual likes and dislikes including special diets.
Referral Procedures
Referrals can be made privately or through the Social Services. All residents will receive a home assessment, where possible, by the manager prior to any admission or offer of a room.

Clare has spent over twenty years working within Health and Social care settings, working in both the public and private sectors.
Clare has management experience in mental health and now dementia residential. Clare holds a Level 5 QCF Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Adults. Clare is also a qualified trainer, with experience working with students at a local college, she feels this enables her to support and train staff to understand how to deliver excellent, person centred care, making a real difference to the lives of our residents. Clare is passionate about care and has a vision to promote dignity, respect and excellent quality of service to the individuals in her home.
